1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MeoMock ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MeoMock is an AI-powered MEO Class 4 Orals examination preparation platform that provides:

• Practice examinations and questions
• AI-powered voice interviews
• Question bank access
• Analytics and performance tracking
• Community features

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

We offer various subscription plans:

• Cadet Plan: Free tier with limited features
• 4th Engineer Plan: Paid subscription with enhanced features
• Chief Engineer Plan: Premium subscription with all features
• Pass Guarantee Plan: Comprehensive preparation package

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your chosen plan
• Automatic renewal for recurring subscriptions unless cancelled
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

5. Credits and Usage

Subscription plans include credits (minutes) for voice interviews and AI features:

• Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable
• Unused credits expire according to your subscription terms
• Credits cannot be exchanged for cash

5.1 Credit Consumption

Stress Test Mode: Stress Test Mode consumes credits at 2x the normal rate. This mode provides aggressive questioning and simulates high-pressure examination environments. By using Stress Test Mode, you acknowledge that credits will be deducted at double the standard rate.

5.2 Fair Usage Policy

Unlimited Plans: Unlimited plans are subject to fair usage policies. The Pass Guarantee plan includes approximately 400 minutes of voice interview time per month. Excessive usage may result in temporary restrictions or require plan upgrade. We reserve the right to enforce fair usage limits to ensure service quality for all users.

5.3 Idle Timeout

Automatic Call Termination: Voice interviews automatically end after 40 seconds of silence to prevent unnecessary charges. This helps maintain fair usage and prevents accidental credit consumption. Please ensure you are ready to participate actively when starting a voice interview.

6. Intellectual Property (MeoMock Content)

All platform content provided by MeoMock, including but not limited to questions, software, branding, documentation, and curated materials, is owned by or licensed to MeoMock and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except as expressly allowed in these Terms.

7. Non-Affiliation

MeoMock is an independent educational platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), Mercantile Marine Departments (MMD), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), classification societies, flag administrations, or any examination or certification authority.

References to regulations, surveyors, or exam topics are for study purposes only. Official requirements are set by competent authorities and your training institutions—not by MeoMock.

8. User-Generated Content (UGC)

Some features allow you to submit content, including exam intel posts, comments, profile information, and feedback ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it you grant MeoMock a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and moderate your User Content for operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Community posts reflect user recollections and are not verified by MeoMock. See our Community Guidelines.

9. User Representations and Warranties

By using the Service and submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to submit the content and grant the license above
• Your content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any third party
• Your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and not intentionally misleading
• You will not upload leaked exam papers, confidential documents, or copyrighted manuals without authorization
• You will comply with our Community Guidelines and applicable law

You agree to indemnify MeoMock against claims arising from your User Content or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. AI-Generated Content

MeoMock uses artificial intelligence (including voice interviews, written answers, OEM Intel, and related features) to generate practice material. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

• AI responses are for practice and study only—not official surveyor, OEM, or authority guidance
• We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or exam outcomes
• You must verify critical technical answers using official manuals, regulations, and qualified instructors before examinations or sea service
• Do not rely on AI output as the sole basis for safety-critical or regulatory decisions

11. Content Moderation

We may, but are not obligated to, review, filter, remove, edit, or disable access to any User Content or account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, to:

• Enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines
• Respond to reports of prohibited content
• Protect users, rights holders, and the integrity of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We are not liable for User Content posted by others. Lack of moderation on a particular item does not mean we approve it.

12. Copyright Infringement and Takedown

If you believe content on MeoMock infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to support@meomock.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work or right claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material on MeoMock (URL, post ID, or description)
• Your contact details and a statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized
• A statement that the information is accurate and, where required, that you are authorized to act for the rights holder

We may remove or disable access to reported material and notify the user who posted it where appropriate. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated. We may also remove content that violates our Community Guidelines without a formal notice.

13. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to facilitate exam misconduct
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Share account credentials or circumvent access controls
• Post content prohibited under the Community Guidelines (including harassment, impersonation, leaked papers, or unauthorized copyrighted material)

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy of all content (including AI and community posts), or results in actual examinations.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeoMock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on User Content or AI output.

16. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

17. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for the current period except as stated in the Refund Policy.

18. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
